Only Works Where It’s Needed
Quick fixes like activated charcoal act like indiscriminate sponges, binding to substances in the gut regardless of whether you want them removed. Our targeted formula works with your digestive system instead, without unnecessarily binding nutrients or medications.
Flatter Stomach
Our formula's active boswellic acids build up in your system to soothe deep-seated irritation in the gut. Over a few weeks of use, this leads to pain relief and a flatter stomach.

Frequently Asked Questions about Swallow Debloat
Our formula is designed for dual-action relief. The digestive enzymes (DigeZyme® and Alpha Galactosidase) begin breaking down gas-causing food particles within 30 to 45 minutes of ingestion. The soothing herbal extracts (Peppermint, Ginger, and Artichoke) work simultaneously to relax intestinal muscles, providing noticeable relief from trapped gas and fullness shortly after your meal.
Single-ingredient supplements only target one part of the problem. While ginger can speed up stomach emptying, it cannot break down the complex carbohydrates or dairy that cause gas. Our complex combines three targeted mechanisms: six vegan digestive enzymes to shred food, carminative herbs to release trapped gas, and Boswellia to calm gut lining irritation. It replaces four separate bottles with one convenient solution.
Yes. Gas from these foods is caused by complex sugars called oligosaccharides, which the human body struggles to break down. Our formula contains a highly concentrated dose of Alpha Galactosidase (300 GALU), an enzyme specifically engineered to dismantle these exact sugars before they reach the lower bowel and ferment into painful gas.
Yes, this formula directly targets slow gastric transit—a common root cause of bloating and lower abdominal fullness. The concentrated Ginger Root (20:1) and Artichoke extracts (12:1) work together as prokinetic agents, keeping food moving along at a brisk pace. They stimulate bile production and encourage the rhythmic contractions of your digestive tract, helping move food through the stomach smoothly to prevent fermentation and heavy stomach feelings.
Probiotics introduce live bacteria to alter your microbiome over several weeks, but they do not actively digest your food or provide immediate relief. In fact, starting probiotics can often increase temporary gas and bloating. Our complex provides immediate, mechanical support using digestive enzymes and gas-dissolving herbs to break down meals and relieve trapped gas today, rather than waiting weeks for bacterial colonies to shift.
Activated charcoal acts like a sponge that indiscriminately binds to substances in your stomach, meaning it can accidentally absorb nutrients from your food or interfere with prescription medications. Our complex does not strip your system. Instead, it uses natural digestive enzymes to break down food molecules properly and soothing herbs to help your gut naturally move trapped gas out of the body safely and comfortably.
DigeZyme® is a blend of five digestive enzymes designed to help break down the different components of a mixed meal. A 150 mg serving provides:
- Alpha-amylase — 3,600 DU: Helps break down starches found in foods such as bread, pasta, rice, potatoes and cereals into smaller carbohydrates.
- Neutral protease — 900 PC: Helps break down proteins from foods such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy, beans and protein-rich plant foods into smaller peptides.
- Lactase — 600 ALU: Helps split lactose, the natural sugar in milk and other dairy foods, into the simpler sugars glucose and galactose.
- Cellulase — 165 CU: Helps break down cellulose, part of the tough cell-wall structure of vegetables, pulses, whole grains and other plant foods. Humans don't produce their own cellulase.
- Lipase — 30 FIP: Helps break down fats from foods such as oils, cheese, nuts, avocado, meat and other fatty foods into fatty acids and glycerol.
Enzymes are unusual because their strength isn't best judged by how many milligrams are present. Instead, they are measured by activity units: laboratory measures of how much work an enzyme can perform under standardised conditions.
So 3,600 DU of amylase doesn't mean 3,600 mg of carbohydrate is digested. DU is a measure of starch-breaking activity. Likewise, ALU measures lactase activity, CU measures cellulase activity and FIP measures lipase activity. The numbers are not directly comparable with each other because each enzyme has its own test.
A useful way to think about it is that milligrams tell you how much enzyme blend is in the capsule; activity units tell you how active those enzymes are.
It is best thought of as a broad-spectrum digestive-enzyme dose for supporting the digestion of an ordinary mixed meal, rather than a very high-dose enzyme treatment aimed at one particular food.
For example, if you ate a meal containing pasta with chicken and vegetables in a creamy sauce, the enzymes have different jobs:
- amylase acts on the starch in the pasta;
- protease acts on the chicken and dairy proteins;
- lactase acts on lactose in the dairy;
- cellulase acts on plant cell walls in the vegetables;
- lipase acts on fats in the sauce and other ingredients.
This is the main advantage of a multi-enzyme blend: it provides activity against carbohydrates, protein, fat, lactose and plant fibre at the same time.
It is also worth putting the numbers in perspective. The 600 ALU of lactase in DigeZyme® provides some lactose-digesting activity, but it is not comparable with a dedicated high-strength lactase product. Specialist lactase supplements commonly provide around 3,000–9,000 ALU per dose, so DigeZyme® should not be presented as a substitute for a high-dose lactase supplement for someone with significant lactose intolerance.
Similarly, there are specialist digestive-enzyme formulas containing considerably higher individual enzyme activities. That doesn't make DigeZyme® ineffective; it reflects its purpose as a balanced five-enzyme complex rather than an ultra-high-potency single-purpose enzyme formula.
Digestive enzymes aren't best measured by their weight alone. What matters is their activity: essentially, how much work the enzyme can do under defined laboratory conditions. That's why enzyme strength is expressed in activity units rather than simply milligrams.
The different enzymes use different units because they act on different substances:
- DU (Dextrinising Units) measures amylase activity.
- PC (Protease Units) measures protease activity.
- ALU (Acid Lactase Units) measures lactase activity.
- CU (Cellulase Units) measures cellulase activity.
- FIP units measure lipase activity.
So, 150 mg tells you how much DigeZyme® is present, while the activity units tell you how active its individual enzymes are. In general, when comparing digestive-enzyme products, the declared enzyme activity is more informative than simply comparing the number of milligrams.
Take 2 capsules daily, roughly 15 to 20 minutes before your heaviest meal of the day, or before a meal containing known trigger foods (such as beans, dairy, or cruciferous vegetables). For best results, swallow the capsules with a full glass of water to help activate the Calcium Citrate, which co-triggers your body's natural digestive enzymes.
Absolutely. Many people on a low FODMAP diet lack the specific enzymes required to break down fermentable carbohydrates (FODMAPs). Our formula includes a targeted 300 GALU dose of Vegan Alpha Galactosidase and a full-spectrum DigeZyme® blend to help your body safely break down high-FODMAP foods like legumes, garlic, onions, and cruciferous vegetables, making your diet easier to manage.
Yes. This formula is safe for daily, long-term digestive support and is manufactured using clean-label, hypoallergenic ingredients. We use bamboo extract as a clean anti-caking agent instead of synthetic chemical flow agents. However, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking prescription medication, consult your doctor before use.
No. Our formula is entirely free from gluten, soy, dairy, wheat, eggs, shellfish, and nuts. We use gluten-free bamboo extract as our capsule filler, and our full-spectrum DigeZyme® and Alpha Galactosidase enzymes are derived from vegan, microbial fermentation processes rather than animal sources.
Yes. Unlike standard enzyme-only products that can sometimes irritate sensitive stomachs, our formula contains 300mg of Boswellia Serrata Extract (10:1). Boswellia contains active boswellic acids that serve as a natural anti-inflammatory agent, specifically helping to soothe, calm, and protect irritated intestinal linings while the other ingredients work on digestion.
As a general safety rule, always space this supplement at least 2 hours apart from any oral prescription medication. Because DigeZyme® contains active digestive enzymes (like Protease and Cellulase), taking them at the exact same moment as a medication could theoretically impact how your body breaks down and absorbs the active ingredients in your prescription.

Calcium
Calcium's role in activating digestive enzymes is an EU-authorised health claim in its own right, verified by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority, an agency of the European Union established in 2002 that provides independent scientific advice on food safety and checks and verifies health claims about nutrients.) EFSA has authorised the claim that ‘calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes’, alongside normal muscle function, blood clotting and energy-yielding metabolism.
